How It’s Harvested
Celtic Sea Salt is traditionally hand harvested from coastal clay salt beds. Seawater flows into shallow pools and slowly evaporates under the sun. As crystals form, the salt is carefully gathered using wooden tools. The contact with mineral rich clay is what gives Celtic salt its characteristic grey hue and expanded mineral profile.
